Photoshop Tutorial // How to Acheive a Chalk Effect Using Glitz Designs
Today, I'll be sharing a tutorial on how to quickly create chalk ornaments using Glitz Designs. In the layout below, I used the French Kiss collection (included in this week's One Buck Wednesday sale over at Jessica Sprague).

I'm so terrible. I know promised to share a bunch of downloads over the weekend and I can barely believe it's already Tuesday!

The first download I plan to share is a set of hand drawn pencil doodles I used in the layout above. I'm just about done making the Photoshop brush and photo overlays for you guys, but in the meantime, I wanted to show you the doodles in action . . . be back tomorrow with the download ♥ ♥ ♥

Last week, I mentioned the Sweet Mail Exchange that's happening over at SSD. Today, I want to offer a couple of suggestions to get your own little parcel started as well as images from some sweet snail mail of my own that I put together over the weekend.

Not All Who Wander Are Lost // DIY Diecut // Silhouette
Because I work in such a small space, I can't always have my Silhouette out. Lately, I've been cutting out a bunch of shapes all at once using white cardstock so I can have embellishments on hand as I'm scrapbooking.

Small Space Solutions // How I Organize My Project Life Supplies
Digital scrapbooking is perfect for small space dwellers, but after getting my Silhouette, I started a number of hybrid projects and needed to figure out how to maintain an area for paper crafting.

This is how I organize my Project Life supplies in a teeny tiny little area. I don't have a designated office or craft room, so I have to limit myself to this one drawer for 95% of my supplies.

I'm really excited to share Week 1 of my Project Life album. As I mentioned earlier, I've been printing all my photos at home and I explain my process below.

I really love digital scrapbooking, but I think having a tangible binder of my layouts makes all the difference . . . it's one of the main reasons I'm enjoying Project Life so much.

DIY Valentine // 16x20 // Hubble Telescope Image // Diecut Typography
This is the valentine I gave Ray using an actual image from the Hubble Telescope. ♥

After downloading the image here, I printed it B+W and attached a diecut message reading "I Love You to the Moon and Back". Some of the photographs in the Hubble gallery are super large and can be made into huge murals, but I just printed mine 16x20 using 4 letter-sized sheets of paper.

I'm not usually a big Valentine's Day person, but this year, I decided to go handmade and before long, I was overcome with crafty excitement.

Ray ended up making his own valentine too--this photo of a snow heart! I'll be posting mine shortly, but for now, I thought I'd share a layout I put together using Ray's photo.
