Lately, I've been drawn to peachy, pinky, pretty colors. I've also been dreaming up schemes to beautify my space . . . perhaps I'll share images of my new inspiration wall next week!

I'm planning on a nice and relaxing long weekend gardening. Well, I use the term "gardening" quite loosely as I only have a small cactus and spider plant to care for. But that's major for a newbie like me and I'm planning on repotting them so I'm filled with anxiety.
I love looking at all the inspiring images of beautiful interiors on Pinterest, but the ones I'm drawn to most are not photos of perfect, overly fussy spaces. Rather, the pins on my boards are often a little flawed. I like comfy, everyday spaces I can see myself spending a lot of time in.
One of my goals for 2013 is to make a photobook of my home and everyday life. Through my inspiration boards, I'm gradually starting to embrace the little flaws all around me and starting to see the beauty in them as well.

Because I work in such a small space, I can't always have my Silhouette out. Lately, I've been cutting out a bunch of shapes all at once using white cardstock so I can have embellishments on hand as I'm scrapbooking.
