Yesterday, on the Sweet Shoppe Designs blog, Heather posted a really great entry with tons of font suggestions for die cutting. I was really inspired by the font family AW Conqueror, so I sent over some images of customized die cut typography to include in the post.
Below are the Project Life layouts I was playing around with and I've also included tips on how to access and utilize the many OpenType features available for AW Conqueror. I know there were a couple questions on the forum about how to do this, so let me know if I can explain anything else ♥ ♥ ♥

OpenType fonts are feature rich and make is really easy to achieve the typographraphical nuances that are usually a lot of work. On top of that, the AW Conqueror Family includes 5 typfaces: Sans, Didot, Slab, Inline, and Carved ( 5 different weights).
I use CS3 and accessing the OpenType features will vary from program to program, so it's important to be able to pull up your character palette. That way, you'll be able to view all of the available ligatures. Accessing your character map is specific to each operating system, so keep in mind that I am on OSX.
I'm going to end this post with a quick guide to using AW Conqueror Carved, or layered fonts in general. I planned on sharing tips to make Didot more Silhouette friendly, but this post is LONG, at least for me :) So, I'll save those tips for the end of the week!
